Nigerian Oil Spill Monitor

Oil spill data provided by the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency of Nigeria.

The available details of an oil spill will display here once you select a spill from the map or table view.

Spills caused by Third party theft or interference are shown red, spills casued by Oil company failure are shown black. Spill sites that have not been visited are shown purple.

A dashed border represents Unquantified spills where the quantity spilled has not been reported. Spills that were at least partially cleaned are shown as Cleaned up, in grey.

Reports without geographical coordinates cannot be shown in the map, but are available in the table view. This is indicated with the map legend "Located x of y spills".

Advanced filtering of the oil spill data is available through the filter options.
